Butter baked cabbage
1.cut the cabbage into 6 wedges and remove any excess stalk. Cook in boiling salted water for 15 minutes, until the stems are tender. Pre heat the oven to 190c/gas mark5
2.use little of the melted butter to grease an ovenproof dish large enough to hold the cabbage in a single layer. Put the cabbage in the dish and drizzle with the remaining melted butter, making sure you cover all of the cabbage.
3.mix together the wholemeal breadcrumbs cheese and sunflower seeds, sprinkle over the cabbage, then season. bake for 15 to 20minutes until the cheese is melted and the breadcrumbs are golden.
